Dear friends and colleagues,
I find myself starting 2021 with a renewed feeling of excitement. Taking on the role of CREW SF President is a new chapter in my career, representing an elevated commitment to this dynamic and forward-looking organization that has been promoting and advancing women as leaders and changing the landscape of San Francisco commercial real estate.
We have learned so much last year, a year that brought unprecedented challenges and hardships, and affected not only all industries, but each individual on a deep personal level. My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones to COVID and to those whose jobs were impacted by the pandemic-led recession. Now, more than ever, CREW SF plays a critical role in providing help and support to its members and the professional CRE community more broadly.
It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve as CREW SF President for 2021, and to build on the work of my predecessors. Together we have evolved to become a more agile, robust, and energetic chapter, leveraging our experience with virtual networking, expanding our dynamic programming to broader audiences, and providing mentorship to our members. We have proudly made environmental and social governance (ESG) our priority, focusing on principles of responsible investment, sustainability and climate change in the built community, and social concerns, including diversity, equity and inclusion.
With a decade of CREW SF membership and involvement to guide me, I look forward to the new opportunities 2021 will bring and to work alongside our committed chapter leaders to continue realizing our mission – to develop and advance women as leaders in the commercial real estate industry.
I welcome you to join this talented, creative, and devoted group, and I have no doubt that you will develop advanced leadership skills while building new relationships and making new friends!
