The Walt Disney Family Museum

Date June 30, 2022
Location Walt Disney Tour & Networking & Colibri Mexican Restaurant
Time 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Constructed in 1897, Barracks 104—as it was previously called—was part of a row of massive, brick Army barracks on Montgomery Street that were built to house soldiers. Long before the museum moved in, the building had been stripped of all of its historic interior walls, ceilings, and finishes by the Army. The Walt Disney Family Museum presents an inspirational journey through the life of Walter Elias Disney. The museum’s mission is two-fold: to inform present and future generations about the man and, through his story, to inspire them to heed their imagination and persevere in pursuing their goals.

The tour will be conducted by one CREW SF past President, Lada Kocherovsky from Page & Turnbull will include the history of Walter Elias Disney and his legacy.  In additional, there are a couple of exhibitions such as the Jungle Book and The Art of Endangered Animals. Please arrive by 4:15 p.m. to attend the tour.
